Note: In this collection of footage from the Fox News Channel and then CBS affiliate KOVR 13 (Sacramento) you will see the following:

• Police cars present after the attack. One dozen police officers and California Highway Patrolmen arrived at the scene after being called by staff at the Sheraton Grand Hotel (where the workshop took place) who saw the attack on our people. Also, a Recall Gray Davis supporter called 9-1-1. The importance of these two facts will be explained a few bullet points down.

• One of the four attacks on Recall Gray Davis supporters. Recall supporters Shawn Cubbage (who is wearing a baseball cap) and Donald Lacombe are both assaulted by a number of thugs who raced across J Street to attack our peaceful demonstrators. Pay close attention to the man on the left in the dark shirt. He not only grabs and strikes Mr. Cubbage, but right before the dark pickup truck obscures the footage, you will see him begin to kick Mr. Cubbage.
  
• A slow motion version of this attack follows. Again – watch as the “WAR” [Workers Against the Recall] workshop attendee lifts his leg and begins kicking Shawn Cubbage while another “WAR” anti-recall thug first assaults Mr. Cubbage from behind, and then recall supporter Donald Lacombe who had attempted to protect Mr. Cubbage.

• Footage of over a dozen Davis supporters rushing across the street – through busy traffic – to join the assault.
  
• Footage from KOVR 13 (CBS affiliate) showing Cubbage as he is released from Sutter General Hospital.
  
• The response from Michael Dugan of the State Building and Construction Trades Council who organized the “WAR” workshops. Mr. Dugan first lies and says no police were called to the scene. Again, not only did our supporters call 9-1-1 as the attack took place, but so too did security guards at the Sheraton Grand Hotel where the “WAR” workshop training took place. The security guards were outraged over the attacks by guests of their hotel, and came over to offer their apologies following the attack.

• Note finally, that Mr. Dugan says these kinds of scuffles by his thugs are “not unusual for these kinds of events.”

All told, there were four attacks on our people. The footage you see above is at the end of the series of attacks. Our supporters were kicked, punched, beaten and tackled. There were several men attacked, a 20-year-old woman and then the “WAR” thugs chased after and harassed, screamed at and terrorized a 7-year-old boy who was crying and shaking after watching his mother and father assaulted.
